Who We Are

Philip D. Alexander
President
Born in Nashville, Tennessee; education – Father Ryan High School (1988); University of Tennessee, Knoxville (B.A. 1996). Philip has had many years of experience involving several aspects of the settlement process. Philip came to Mooreland Title Company from Alexander Land Research, LLC, which was a Middle Tennessee abstract company that Philip owned and operated. Philip joins Mooreland Title as the new president where he feels he will be better able to provide closing services in the time, fashion and attention they deserve. Philip resides in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife and their 4 children. He is a member of the Tennessee Abstractors Association and the Southern Association of Title Abstractors.


Alphonse H. Davis
Al was born in Nashville, Tennessee; education Father Ryan High School (1953); George Peabody College (B.S. 1957), (M.A. 1958). Married with 9 children. Al was a school teacher/coach with the Metro School System for 10 years before entering the real estate/building business with Fox Ridge Homes. He was affiliated with Fox Ridge Homes for 32 years. Al is an active member of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission and the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee.
 

Hugh W. Entrekin
Attorney at Law
Born December 23, 1956 Nashville, Tennessee; education – Montgomery Bell Academy (1975); Colorado College (B.A. 1979); Vanderbilt University (J.D. 1986); admitted to the bar in 1986; married with 3 children. Mr. Entrekin is a partner in the firm of Tune, Entrekin, & White, P.C. and has extensive experience in all areas of real estate law, including single family residential, multi family residential, residential development, and commercial. Mr. Entrekin regularly represents residential developers, builders, and commercial property owners and lenders in all facets of real estate transaction.

Thomas V. White
Attorney at Law
Born August 6, 1947; education – Loyola University (B.A. 1969); Vanderbilt University (J.D. 1972); admitted to bar in 1972; married with 3 children. Mr. White has extensive background in the areas of litigation and land use planning for residential and commercial builders. Mr. White has served as legal counsel to the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee, as well as the Home Builders Association of Tennessee for approximately 30 years. Mr. White has served for two terms as a Board member for the Nashville Bar Association and served as the President of the Nashville Bar Association in 1996. Mr. White is a partner in the firm of Tune, Entrekin, & White, P.C.

LINDA J. OTT
Born in Ohio, Linda comes to Mooreland Title Company with over 20 years of Real Estate Title experience. Linda joins Mooreland Title Company as an Escrow Officer for our Cool Springs Office. She resides in Columbia, TN with her husband.

Anne D. Welton
Born and raised in Nashville, TN. Anne graduated from University of Tennessee in 1981. She joins Mooreland Title Company as an Escrow Officer in the Downtown Office. Anne has two children and resides in Nashville with her husband Greg.
